As the old year ends and we look forward to the beginning of the new, we gather together to call back our energy from wherever we may have left it. Over time we can consciously or subconsciously give our power away to people, places, situations, systems of control, and authority figures.
Join us for an empowering mini retreat to consciously call all of our energy back to ourselves and reclaim our power while we relax and re-set in the new year.
We gather in person for a relaxing self-renewal retreat at Nurture in Denver, Colorado. Our journey begins with a sacred cacao ceremony, and continues with a higher dimension experience calling your energy back from anywhere you may have left it or anyone you may have given it to, a guided meditation journey to meet your higher self, and a rejuvenating sound bath with reiki healing and energy balancing to complete your re-set and confidently step into the new year.
We are so excited to explore, support, and engage with each one of you. Holding sacred space for a limited number of adult participants to allow for an intimate and powerful experience. Early bird registration opens now with a waitlist opportunity.

Relax and Reset…
Heart Opening Cacao Ceremony with Jamie. Through opening the heart by consuming a sacred cacao elixir, we further the ability to release any past traumas or heartbreaks we’re holding onto in our hearts, reconnect to love, and further connect to our deepest desires. Specific ingredients of ritual cacao and spices contain the natural chemicals of theobromine-that naturally releases dopamine (the pleasure chemical) and phenethylamine-a chemical released in the body during emotional euphoria that is known to help relieve stress and depression.
For those reasons alike, heart chakra balancing and cacao ceremonies often go hand-in-hand. These ceremonies can help aid in individuals experiencing a heightened sense of the physical and emotional body, including awareness of the deepest depths of themselves, and their hearts. A perfect start to our day ahead.
Calling Your Energy Back: A Higher Dimension Experience with Kristy. We may be individuals with our own bodies and and awareness, but that doesn’t mean we keep all our energy to ourselves. Over time we consciously and subconsciously give it away to people, places, situations, systems of control, and authority figures. This experience will gently guide you to call back your energy from wherever you have left it or whomever you have given it to. You will also re-connect and receive the loving energy of the earth and the infinite possibilities energy of the cosmos, of which we are naturally a part of. Learn to protect your energy field and consciously interact with those around you from a place of inner truth and worthiness.
Meeting Your Higher Self: A Guided Meditation with Jamie. Your higher-self is your truest nature of unconditional love, wisdom, creativity, and inner most light. It is the wise being within all of us. It is a calm, loving, and spiritual guide that brings our positive characteristics to the surface and tasks us with questioning our lower nature or ego. When we live in alignment with the inner wisdom of our Higher Selves, we become the best possible version of ourselves. It knows our purpose in life, and encompasses our potential to live a fulfilling and joyous life through personal growth and self-awareness. With this connection, you will be guided to meet this higher form of yourself and through practice you will be able to make your truest choices and live a life to your highest calling.
Immersive Sound Bath with Melissa. It can be said that illness is a manifestation of disharmony within the body—an imbalance in the cells or a given organ. Since matter is energy vibrating at different rates, by altering the rate of vibration we can change the structure of matter. Sound from Himalayan Singing Bowls entrains the brain to move into the theta brain wave frequencies. These frequencies can provide clarity of mind, stimulate the intuition, and induce deeply meditative and peaceful states. The sound vibrations impact our nervous system by engaging our relaxation reflex and inhibiting the stress or pain response.

Nurture is a full service wellcare marketplace. You are welcome to arrive early and take advantage of their offerings and accommodations. These include: beverages, coffee, and food/meals at Nest Cafe + ReWild, boutiques, infrared sauna, salt room, massage and nail services. Our event begins promptly at 12:00pm. We will provide hot water, your choice of tea, and a very light snack. Infrared sauna and salt room experiences can optionally be booked here for 30 - 45 minutes sessions. These are only available in the morning before the retreat begins. Nurture has many holistic providers in house, so you can optionally book nail or massage services here to enjoy before the retreat begins as well.

We ask that you please be mindful of others on this retreat and refrain from using your cell phone or having it on during gatherings, meditations, workshops, and during the sound bath. We want to be sure that we are able to offer everyone a pleasant experience without the interruptions and distractions of modern day technology. Thank you in advance for supporting this policy.

We ask that you bring a water bottle, a journal/notebook and pen and wear comfortable clothing. We will be sitting and laying on the floor/yoga mats. If you are uncomfortable sitting on the floor, we are able to accommodate you with a chair. We ask that you eat a meal beforehand in order to be fully focused on the activities presented. Please silence your cell phone for the most beneficial experience.

Jamie is a licensed and certified Level 3 Usui Reiki Practitioner through Natural Healer, a certified Alternative Healing Practitioner, a certified EFT/Tapping Facilitator and the owner of Sacred Symmetry, also in Arvada. She is experienced in teaching classes around mindfulness, meditation, and stress management. Her work requires her to listen to her clients, observe their non-verbal cues, and be sensitive to their energy needs while restoring them into balance. She is grounded in mindfulness and wellness and brings a sense of peace and calm to any situation. Jamie is a helper at heart and a firm believer that we are energetic beings having a physical experience.
Reiki is a holistic Japanese technique for stress reduction, relaxation, and spiritual healing. This non-invasive approach requires the placement of the practitioner’s hands over the body or in some cases resting gently on the body. Reiki originates from the root words Rei, meaning higher knowledge or spiritual consciousness, and Ki meaning life energy. Reiki, as a whole, is spiritually guided life energy. It is no secret that we are all made of energy along with everything that surrounds us. Our bodies are susceptible to illness, disease, and inflammation when there is a restriction in the flow of energy. Not only does this cause physical ailments but it also causes emotional turmoil and stress.Reiki seeks to restore the flow and provide balance through immediate stress reduction, relaxation, reduce anxiety, pain management, and activating your body’s own natural ability to heal itself promoting overall well-being.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is an alternative treatment for physical pain and emotional distress. It’s also referred to as tapping and is similar to acupressure. EFT is helpful in treating those with anxiety, phobias, and PTSD. EFT focuses on the meridian points — or energy hot spots — to restore balance to your body’s energy. It’s believed that restoring this energy balance can relieve symptoms a negative experience or emotion may have caused. By tapping on these meridians while expressing a positive affirmation designed to restore the flow of energy, the physical as well as mental pain and anguish can be greatly diminished or eliminated. It has been an authorized treatment for war veterans with PTSD, and it has demonstrated some benefits as a treatment for anxiety, depression, physical pain, and insomnia.

Melissa DeRenzo is a holistic practitioner who activates the healing response of the body and helps clients achieve a better sense of balance and clarity. The first thing you will notice about Melissa is her joy and desire to serve. The continual student, Melissa has a collection of modalities to care for your mind, body, and spirit. She has taught Yoga for over 10 years, is a Reiki Master, and Certified Sound Healing Facilitator. Beyond certifications, she has studied alongside Shamans, Rishis, and masters of the crafts she offers to her clients. She believes that with the right tools in loving hands, we can make major shifts in our health and whole wellness. Her favorite modality to share is sound healing with reiki integration because of the immediate results it offers and it can be shared by couples, friends, or large groups. She is a leader in sound healing and offers herself to help you when you are ready.
